In Schwalbe performs a Time 5 people build up and break down 11 borrowed stage designs in one continuous movement during a night. We give attention to each moment that passes, to each material we hold, and share the beauty of transition as well as the - usually invisible- physical labour before and after a performance. As a spectator you look at worlds appearing and disappearing in a movement that never stops. We were inspired by Henri Bergson’s ideas about time and perception - the uninterrupted prolongation of the past into a present which is already blending into the future.
